What are our Needs ?

What are our Needs ?

What are our needs ?
Do we really have needs ?
Are they acquired or real ?
The first reaction for almost all humans is that even asking such a question is crazy !
It is commonsense , that we all have needs !
Okay , you may be right , but have you really examined this question with some depth ?!
What are needs and how are they really created .
Before we go into any lenghty debate or discussion , just take a moment to reflect or ponder .
Today , with 7 billion humans across the planet , see what are our needs ?!
From some just hoping or praying for a meal to others having more wealthy then even some countries!!
Some cannot even get clean water to drink to others who can have some exotic drinks that may cost the sky !
Our very basic need , if there is a real need to live , is food and water .
Without that , nothing else matters !
The huge , vast scale of difference to this basic , essential need across the planet is an eye opener !
One human is struggling to survive , while another is wondering what to do with the overweight problem !
One is searching for some crumps to live.

Another is searching for the best gourmet outlet in the city !
Both are born from a womb and will pass away when the time comes !
It does not mean that that person eating gourmet meal has a better chance or is favoured for some reason !
Where is this huge gap really ??!!
A child who just wants some mother's milk now desires the most expensive wines around town !
Food or drinks are only tasty till the tongue !! After that it does not matter any more !
This huge gap that we see across the planet is man made !
It is a mental problem that is created around thoughts, feelings , ideas and concepts !
Are needs real now ?!
I have just touched the tip !!
We have not yet been able to give everyone a decent meal across the planet as yet !!
Some civilisation we have !
There are thousands who will sleep hungry tonight !
What are our needs ?!!
You tell me !!
That is all for now .
Take care .
Amar.
