Growing up and becoming Aware !

The morning sun was bright ! Everything was so fresh !

The green grass smelled fresh and nice . It had that special grass smell that

I enjoyed . It was soft . I loved to sit or just lie in this grass .

As I sat , I always became aware of another wonderful world !

You will only see that wonderful world , when you are very close to that !

Grasshoppers sitting quietly on the blades of grass . Green or light brown in 

colour that made them practically invisible even from being very close to them !

They were so many other small insects crawling around in their little world !

There were also very tiny flowers from the grass and other weeds .

This is how my childhood days were !

Running around , lying in the grass , chasing butterflies and catching grasshoppers .

Searching for wild berries or other fruits that I got used to .

Not a care in the world !

I lived in a simple house that was my home !

My loving mother always attended to my basic needs .

Dressed simple , ate simple , lived simple , yet was always happy and full of life !

This was my paradise !

As I grew up , I had to go to a school . 

Now , I entered the world of books !

Reading , writing and drawing became my new play things !

I still enjoyed my days .

Out of school , I was back to my country living !

I will walk along streams , sit by ponds or pools of water and just go into wonderland !

Daydreaming or just going into a trance like state was my usual past time !

I was so fascinated with everything around ! 

As , I started growing up and started seeing the world of grown ups , I became aware of another 

world ! 

People lived and believed in so many things that I could not understand !

Of all the things , the one thing that they all talked with fear , respect and mystery was something 

the grown ups called : God !

I was regularly taken to the place of worship on weekends but was left alone to do my things !

I played around or wondered what were the grown ups doing sitting so seriously and mumbling some words !

Thank god , nothing was ever forced upon me !

I only had to keep my hair long as was the tradition of my people !

Slowly but surely , this God started to also enter into my life !!

I was told that everything that I did or do was now being watched by the mysterious all seeing and all knowing entity known as God !!

Whenever I questioned more about this God , I started becoming more confused !

Everything about God was confusing and contradicting !!

The grown ups referred to this God as ' He ' ! 

So , God was a He ! A male . A man !

God , surely cannot be a child or a young man , I assumed or as they assumed !

All feelings and thoughts pointed to God being a very , very old man !!
This began my learning about the world of grown ups !!
I can tell you now , that the world of grown ups is quite confusing and crazy !
I know from my personal experience !
I allowed a part of me to grow for functionality !
The best part , I kept it in a state of Awe and wonder like I did in my early days of childhood !
That has saved me from the world of grown ups !!
I will end for now !

I Am Writing and Sharing ! You are Reading and.......!

It was still very dark . The clock in the room showed 5 AM .

I got up and went to the toilet , did my usual morning ritual .

Felt fresh and full of energy to face and experience a new day !

Walked gently to the main hall to meet and greet others .

I start my morning and day with Yoga exercises followed by meditation .

That is from 6 Am till 8 Am .

Breakfast is from 8 Am .

Now I am all set for the day !

Usually , it is a bright sunny day .

I enjoy and love seeing the bright sun in the sky .

The grass looks fresh and green , flowers are in full bloom .

Bees are busy buzzing here and there collecting whatever they need .

Beautiful butterflies fly about gently feeding their wants .

There is some magical feel to a sunny morning that we will miss if we don't watch !

We have to slow down our pace of life to watch or admire the beautiful magical world that we live in!

There is great wonder , mystery , magic , joy and fun just being present to the world around !

That is the true essence of being !

There is a sense of freshness and being aware of some life energy present in the present moment !

In the next , only a shadow of that is left !

A memory is like a imprint of the real ! A recording of sorts . A useful data ! Information.

It is not reality !!

Reality is always in the presence of life and living moment or now !

always be aware of whatever you are being or doing in the present moment and you will live fully with a sense of feeling complete and contented !

That is secret most are not aware of !

There is total feeling of fullness and satisfaction !

Once we have experienced such a state , we live in blissfulness !

Then all of life and living becomes a joy !

We can enjoy this passing show or drama joyfully !

We have come home to our true Self !

Now life is a constant blissful and blessed living !

Who Are We ??!!

Today , I am in the mood to explore more of our true nature !

Yes , we all have a physical body !

Yes too , that our physical body is ever changing , growing this way or that way !!

Finally , the body will come to it's natural end ! 

It will crumple and go back to it's elements !!

Now , what we call life is a form of energy !

Energy is energy , but it can express or manifest in many forms !!

Heat is one such form . Light is another form of expression .

Sound and Magnetic are expressions too!

Life too is another form of energy expression !

Thoughts and feelings are expressions of that energy too !!

Thoughts can heal and kill too !!

Feelings can heal and kill too !!

Love is energy !!

Hate is energy !!

Who are we ??!!

We are expressions of energy !

We are Energy Beings !

We vibrate !

We have frequency !

I can tune myself to be loving or I can tune to be hateful !

I make a decision or choose to be so !

I decide to be happy or I decide to be miserable !

I am the decision maker !

When you can understand this , then you can understand life and everything !

Then , you have become the Master of your life !

Some Reflections on Who or What Am I !

This is one quest , question or query that I have been fascinated ever since !

Most of my life , I have always been thinking , reflecting and contemplating about this one issue !

Perhaps , most may not find this issue important for whatever reason !

For me , this is the Only issue that is relevant !!

Why ?!

Why not ?!!

It is about Me !! 

That's why !!

Let me or who ever it is explain how or why I have always been fascinated by this issue .

This issue is centred around one idea or concept .

Identity !!

What is my real identity ?!

There is a physical body that I have that has been ever changing since my very beginning !

From a foetus , infant , child , teens , adult to now , it is a very strange experience !

The body that I call me is and has changed and is changing constantly !

With the body , the 'I ' identity has been expanding with new forms of identities !

Some time ago , I was just a helpless child , then this I grew and became a brother to some , a friend , a son , a father , a husband , a doctor , a patient , and the identities just keep expanding !

Layers of such identities have covered me !

Yet , there an aspect of me that seems always to be beyond all this layers or covers that are around me !

That aspect of me is always changeless !!

It also is without any labels or forms !!

It just is aware that it is !!

What or who it is , is really very difficult to express !

I know it is , yet I cannot point , show , express that to any one !

It is just my most inner experience that makes living so real !!

As I am going through life , I find more joy in identifying with that formless Me !!
It is so much more peaceful , joyful , non demanding and always full of love !!
It always feels so full and complete !

I have come to realise that we have to focus on the identity that best suits us !!

The every changing forms and identities are all temporary and will pass away !!
The Formless is Changeless and is Timeless !!

That is It !

How We Are All Self Limiting Creatures !

Now what needs to happen for me or you to get happy ?
It could be anything and everything or simply nothing !!
How can that be ?
It is that way ! 
Look around at others and then at yourself .
Sometimes we want this or need that to feel happy or pleased .
At other times we may need nothing !
How come !!
That is the nature of our self !
One man or person just wants to get a good meal and that will just be heavenly ! He is so hungry . It is natural and real .
Another person wants to buy that latest race car . He wants to be the man with the fastest race car ! Will he drive it ? 
Maybe , maybe not !!
It is not about driving ! It is about just having it !!
That is how we are all trapped or wrapped in the self limiting game of our life !
We all think we need this or that to give us that joy or happiness !
We limit our self all the time !
It is because of this kind of thinking that we belief in , that we are running all over the world doing this or that !
We limit our life to the way we think !
If , I told you that you don't need anything to make you happy , joyful or contented and complete ?! 
Will you  belief or listen to me ?
All our needs or wants are self created !
The man who thinks he needs the fastest race car will be begging for food if he does not get that for a day or two !
gone will be the desire for anything more then to just eat !
If , we can see and understand that all our needs are just being created by our ever ending desires and greed , then we will be able to relax and live happily !
We are all caught in this drama ! We keep struggling thinking we will be happy if we become that or this ! If we get that or this !
That is the sad drama of our self limiting life !

Many Realities and One Confused Human !

Got up from sleep . Sat up in bed . Looked around my room . Everything looked familiar .

I kept looking at my body and all things . I seem to know them and yet a part of me was not sure !

What is all this going on ! What am I doing here and why ?!

What am I needing or wanting to achieve here ?!

Is there anything worth achieving ?!

For who ?

The one that thinks or feels is not real !! It will not last !! It is already crumpling right in front of me !

Who or what am I doing this for ?!

Who is this ?!

Is this the skilled football player who had worked and trained to show his skills ?!

Is this the poor, struggling woman who has to worry to feed her countless children as her beliefs do not allow any birth or family control !! 

Is there any pill or system to manage one's endless desires or needs ?!

Can one control one's sex need just with a thought ?!

In spite of all the fears or love , it has not been achieved !

One human achieves a billion and is still not achieved bliss or contentment !

Another wants to blow up others to achieve bliss !

Some are searching for a meal , while others are searching for a field for excitement !

Some are struggling to find something to wear , while others are trying to get designer wears !

Every human being on this planet is running here and there to make some sense to life and what it means ! 

Some close themselves behind doors for the rest of their life struggling to find meaning !

Others go all around doing this or that !

7 billion humans and growing !!

All having their unique perspective to what is the meaning or purpose to live !!

Huge groups are formed with some identity or label . 

One says they are right and know the truth while the other says that they know the truth !!

Who is to say who knows what !!!

They quarrel , fight , kill , make peace , then decide to quarrel , fight and kill again !!

I have no idea what they want to achieve when they will All be gone soon !!

Are they not aware of that or am I the only weird being wondering !!

With some many realities and truths , will you not feel confused ?!

You make your own conclusions .

I just want to have my coffee and enjoy this day !

More Thoughts on Thoughts and Awakening !

Yesterday , My blog was that there is no one really known as Amarjit !

It was like giving a big jolt or simply dropping the concept , idea or belief from a height !

Sometimes a big shock is all that one needs !

Such shocks are useful , as they wake us from our sleep !

Let me try , or attempt to express my point .

Take a group of people . Can be a family , business group , nation or a religious group .

All is going fine . Things are looking very good . Everything is just wonderful .

Then , suddenly , out of the blue , most unexpectedly , the key person or leader dies !

All are left shocked ! Feeling lost , empty and not knowing or understanding what to do !

In the midst of a peaceful good life and living , you are now shocked and lost !

That is a real shock ! Nothing makes sense ! Nothing can be comprehended !

Have you not experienced such moments in our life ?!

That is a real shock ! We are really shaken and woken !

Life makes no sense now ! We grief and feel hopeless for sometime !

Then , slowly we come to terms with death and sort of accept it and move on !

Do we really know what happened ?! Do we really know that we are going to go too !

Do we wonder or start to wonder what is all this life and living ?!

Almost , always NO !

After an initial shock , we just pretend that is okay and move on !

The founder of Buddhism , Gautama Buddha , got such a shock early in his life !

He saw that all life and living is only a temporary passing show !

He , being a royalty was protected from the harsh reality for quite some time .

When he saw that we all are ever

changing , growing and finally going he was shocked !

Sometimes we get ill or sick ! Other times we get old and then finally we ALL die !!

That shock was enough for him to leave everything behind and go searching or thinking about our life!

All life is ever changing , temporary and will pass away !!

What does it mean ?! 

Do you want to go on pretending and living such a strange , deluded and illusive life ??!!

If you are happy , enjoying and feel is is okay , then please go ahead and just ignore my writings !

They are not for you . It may actually appear crazy and writings of some weird nutter !

I am quite happy to have any labels given to me ! I have lived long enough now to enjoy them !!

If , you think or feel my writings are meaningful , then they are meaningful and action must be taken now !

Get real ! Keep living and enjoying what ever you are doing , but , start to or just get up !!

This will do for now .
